We value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how TypeNow ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application. Please read this policy carefully before using our app.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

Keyboard & AI Features

When you use AI-powered features (such as text generation, smart replies, or chat assistance):

• Text Processing: The text you type or submit for AI processing is securely transmitted to our AI service provider (Bitmesh Chat API) to generate responses
• Temporary Processing: This data is used only to fulfill your request and is not permanently stored on our servers
• No Sensitive Data Collection: We do not intentionally collect or access sensitive information such as passwords, credit card numbers, financial information, or private messages
• No Keystroke Logging: We do not log or record your keystrokes beyond what is necessary to process an active AI request

Important: Full Access Permission

iOS requires keyboard extensions to request "Full Access" permission to access the network. Here's what you need to know:

• Without Full Access: Basic keyboard functionality works, but AI features requiring the internet will not function
• With Full Access: When you grant Full Access, the keyboard can transmit text to our servers for AI processing. You control this permission in your iOS Settings
• We only transmit text when you actively use an AI feature – not for regular typing

2. Automatically Collected Information (Analytics)

We use Firebase Analytics (by Google) to understand how users interact with our app and improve performance.

What Firebase may collect:

• Device type and model
• iOS operating system version
• App interactions (which features you use)
• Aggregated usage metrics (counts, session duration)
• Crash reports

What we DO NOT send to Firebase:

• Typed text or messages
• Personal content
• AI prompts or responses
• Any identifiable personal information

Our implementation logs only aggregated counters, such as:

• Event type (e.g., "ai_feature_used")
• Feature name
• Usage frequency

3. Third-Party Services

Our app integrates the following third-party services:

Bitmesh iOS SDK

• Purpose: Provides AI chat and text processing functionality
• Data Processed: When you use AI features, your submitted text is sent to Bitmesh servers to generate responses
• Data Handling: Bitmesh processes this data according to their privacy policy. Please review Bitmesh's policies once available from the vendor
• No Data Selling: Bitmesh does not sell your personal data

Firebase Analytics (Google)

• Purpose: Anonymous usage analytics and performance monitoring
• Data Collected: Device information, app interaction data (as described in Section 2)

• Opt-Out: You may opt out of analytics collection by disabling analytics in your device settings (where applicable)

Alamofire

• Purpose: Open-source networking library for secure network communication
• Data Handling: Alamofire itself does not collect or process any personal data
• License: MIT License – used only to manage HTTPS network requests

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Information may be shared only in the following circumstances:

• With Service Providers: To third-party vendors who help us operate the App (Bitmesh for AI processing, Firebase for analytics). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us
• Legal Compliance: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• Protection of Rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of TypeNow, our users, or the public
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to users)

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption: All data transmission uses secure HTTPS/SSL protocols
• Limited Access: Access to any stored data is restricted to authorized personnel only
• Regular Reviews: We regularly review our security practices

However, please note: No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

• AI Request Data: Processed in real-time and not permanently stored. Temporary logs may exist for debugging and abuse prevention but are deleted regularly
• Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized; retained only as long as necessary for analytical purposes
• Legal Compliance: We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

7. Children's Privacy

Our app is rated 13+ and is intended for general audiences.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)
• If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately
• Upon verification, we will delete such information from our systems

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your region of residence (such as the European Union, United Kingdom, California, etc.), you may have specific rights regarding your personal data:

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the App.
